LEARN, CREATE, SHARE...Science is all around us...

My latest challenge for my students is to find Science all around our school. Students use their iPads to take photos or videos of things around our school, inside and outside the building. Then the students have to write about the science behind the picture, facts, ideas, thoughts, or even questions.

We are going to compile all of the students work into one iBook and publish it in Apple Books for everyone to see at the end of the school year. I am having multiple grades work on this project to get variety of ideas and content for the book.

I am really happy with what they have come up with so far. I know as the school year progresses the content will get deeper and I love that the students are engaged and making connections with their learning to their world.

Students were encouraged to use any productive app of their choice to show their learning. I think we are off to a good start. I can't wait to see our finished project at the end of the year.
